Jonathan Heasley is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Dallas, TX who attends Prestonwood Christian Academy. Nice athletic build, some present strength with more to come. Standard leg raise delivery, compact arm action that hides the ball well, good direction to the plate, tight high 3/4's arm slot, gets downhill well enough. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight and will have to work on fastball movement at some point. Has shown a nice fastball velocity progression over the past two years. Short soft slider with good shape and occasional 2 plane depth. Threw strikes with both pitches. Good student.
