Cristian Monero is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-1 207 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Charles W Flanagan. Monero has a large frame with a thick strong build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Monero uses a lower leg lift and stays tall on his backside. His front hip opens early and tends to fly open. He has a shorter stride length with a fairly upright finish. Monero can get more from his lower half to increase his velocity. He throws a 12/6 curveball at 63 MPH with good downer action to it. He also throws a change up at 62 MPH with some sink to it. Very good student.
