Ross Scott is a 2014 RHP/2B, OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Sanger, TX who attends Sanger. Scott has a medium sized frame with a thin lean build. He pitches with a high 3/4 arm slot with a shorter arm action. He has some explosiveness to his delivery with some deception. Scott hides the ball well and has an online balanced delivery. He has good rhythm to his delivery and is a strike thrower. He throws an 11/5 curve ball with good bite to it. Scott uses a long arm action in the outfield with arm speed and projectable arm strength. He has carry on his throws and solid defensive tools. At the plate, Scott has a high hand set from a slightly open stance. He uses a slight knee lift to start his swing and gets extension. Very good student.
