Jeremy Arriaga is a 2014 C/RHP/UT with a 5-7 165 lb. frame from Rosenberg, TX who attends B F Terry HS. Stocky short build, good present strength. 7.01 runner, quick out of box and 4.23 home to first, very versatile defensive player, can probably play all 9 position on the field. Good arm strength behind the plate, clean release, gains ground on throws, accurate, has quickness blocking and shifting. Shows his arm strength from the outfield and his athleticism in the infield Right handed hitter, short simple swing approach, keeps his hands over the ball, pull to mid field line drive contact, hands the barrel well and hits under control. Also pitched, drop and drive delivery with a short quick arm action, stays balanced, lands open, fastball to 82 mph with good sink, gets some bite and depth on low 70's curveball. Interesting young player due to versatility and high energy level.
