Brendan McGuigan is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends St Michaels Academy. Long frame with room to get stronger. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a good arm action. Pitches with a smooth downhill delivery, attacks hitters with his fastball, has good depth to his slider which he uses as his out pitch. Gets good movement on his fastball and commands both of his pitches from strikes. Shows the ability to elevate his fastball, has a good mound presence and executes his pitches on the mound. Is an interesting prospect to follow and is a very good student.
