Mitchell McCrary is a 2014 LHP/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Mills River, NC who attends West Henderson. Thin build, compact frame, room to fill. Pitches from three quart arm slot, solid arm speed, some life on fastball allows it to play up a tick from the consistent 79-81 velocity. Short arm action, frontside tends to open early, developing fell for slider, curveball needs more power behind it, slows arm to create depth rather than letting it go.
