Ethan Baer is a 2016 3B/RHP, 2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Campbell Hall. Medium frame, young build, room to fill. Short, quick steps in the infield, arm strength will continue to develop, short arm action on throws across. Right-handed pitcher who throws from a three quarter arm slot with a short arm action in back. Loose arm with low effort in arm, high leg lift, needs to push off better and will see velocity bump using his lower half. Worked his fastball 75-77 mph, showing occasional sink on the pitch. Also flashed a changeup at 73 mph. Right-handed batter who starts with a low hand set, upright stance and small toe tap trigger. Upper body swing, shows some bat speed and ability to hit to all fields. Excellent students.
