Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and has a line drive swing path. Hits on his front foot at times and takes a long stride. Has a smooth path with his hands and shows good barrel accuracy. Gets the ball out quickly from behind the plate and has an arm action to catch. Shows solid arm strength. Makes the plays consistently from shortstop, but profiles best at catcher. Good student.
