Drew Morytko is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Oak Ridge HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Long loose arm action, 3/4's release slot, arm works well and projects with strength, nice balanced delivery and repeats well, everything clean. Fastball to 84 mph, heavy with sink when down in the zone, works downhill well. Tight slider spin, has good feel for slider with consistent 2-plane break, change has nice sinking action at times as well. Projectable young pitcher with three good present pitches and a clean delivery, it's all about gaining strength. Also played outfield and showed his loose, strong arm there as well. Right handed hitter with a spread, no stride approach, spray line drive contact, handles the barrel well and made contact. Good student.
