Joshua Wilson is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Maitland, FL who attends Edgewater. XL frame with very strong overall build throughout body. Employs a deceptive delivery on the mound, hides the ball very well, and gets his fastball on hitters very quickly thanks to both deception and velocity. Has hip coil in delivery and then rotates through well and drives towards home plate, using his lower half effectively. FB worked 79-81 and topped at 82, working down in the zone with good life on the pitch. Showed high potential CB with 12/6 shape and sharp break; also flashed quality CH with fading action down in zone. Athletic prospect with quick feet and good pick off move. Fielded well at 1B as well, showing clean actions and short/quick arm action on accurate throws. Very good student.
