Mikey Espinal is a 2015 2B/SS with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Jamaica, NY who attends Long Island City. Medium, strongly built, lean frame with more room to add strength. Ran a 7.47 60 yard dash. Shows soft hands on the infield and has easy fielding actions. Moves well laterally. Flashes solid arm strength and makes accurate throws across. Gets the ball out cleanly. Bats right-handed, works from a wide base and is effective hitting the ball to all fields. Uses a line drive approach and stays up the middle. Flashes solid bat speed. Good student.
