2005 Northern CA Top Prospect Showcase
Adam Skonieczki is a 2006 grad from Endwell, New York who attends Union-Endicott High School. He is 6' 160 pounds and has a long lively frame which is very lean and athletic. He has athletic proportions with room for added muscle and his body will hold it well. Adam ran a 7.37 60 with good long strides and topped out at an impressive 88 mph form the outfield. He has good balance on ground balls and makes accurate throws. He has sure hands to handle any bad hops that would come his way. At the plate, Skonieczki has an average base and stands tall with slightly bent knees. He has some bat speed through the hitting zone. He should be a middle of the line up bat that will handle himself well at the next level. We would like to see if his velocity from the outfield transfers onto the mound one day. Adam is also an exceptional student with a 90% gpa and a 1700 on his SAT.
