Andrew Marquardt is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-6 190 lb. frame from Leawood, KS who attends Rockhurst HS. Very tall, lanky build, lots of room to get stronger. Simple balanced delivery mechanics, slow paced, stays tall over the rubber with a short stride, over the top arm action with some looseness coming through, arm projects, repeats delivery. Steady 82-84 mph fastball, sharp downhill angle with good additional sink at the plate, velocity plays up due to size and angle. Curveball shows deep 11/5 shape and good spin, stays on top of it well, developing change up. Has some strength and leverage as a right handed hitter with good power potential, 6.91 runner. Has all the tools to keep improving on the mound. Good student.
