Mitchell Allen is a 2016 1B/RHP, C, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Boulder Creek. Large frame, thick strong build. Raw power stood out in batting practice with multiple home runs to the pullside and then translated well into games with good opposite field power to burn the right fielder twice in the same game. Good bat speed and strength, ball carries well off the bat, aggressive swing, gets weight shifted through contact well. Good footwork defensively at first base, good actions. Also pitched and ran fastball up to 85 mph with sink and run and good depth on curveball that projects well. Good student.
