Jake Lewton is a 2014 3B/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Des Moines, IA who attends Dowling Catholic HS. Medium strong build, especially in the lower half. Right handed hitter, has good hand quickness and a short path to the ball, stays balanced and squares up consistently, good game swings, has bat speed and could have more with more lower half involvement, solid overall hitting tools. 7.52 runner, good footwork charging and moving to his left, better making plays on the move, tends to sweep glove at ball at times, arm strength playable with good transfer and release. Very good student.
