Carlos E Matos is a 2015 2B/OF with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Colonial. Has a young projectable medium athletic frame with room to get stronger. Has lateral movement which help him get to the ball quicker, with an accurate arm and soft hands. Starts with an upright stance at the plate. Takes an aggressive line drive approach at the plate with a good swing. Stays inside the ball well with good extension in his swing, lets the ball travel and hits the ball to all fields. He is a young interesting player to follow and is an outstanding student.
