David Tudhope is a 2015 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley Southwest HS. Nice athletic build, has some present strength with room for more. Leg raise delivery, kicks out aggressively, hides ball well, 3/4's arm slot, will fall off at times out front and lose direction, medium effort release. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running action, fastball gets on hitters quickly due to deception and hiding the ball. Shows three quality off-speed pitches, threw curveball most frequently, has good spin and depth, slider is short and tight and compliments the curveball well, rare change up but with proper arm speed and late sinking life. Has all the pitches to be successful at the next level if the velocity comes up. Good student.
