Brad Benson is a 2014 3B/SS/RHP with a 6-2 182 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Scottsdale Christian Academy. Tall, athletic build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.55 60 yard dash. Shows good infield footwork and a strong arm across the diamond. Bats right-handed, works from a slightly open stance and finishes high with his hands. Hits well to his pull side and uses a toe tap trigger. Drives the ball to all fields. Also took the mound, works in the low 80s with his fastball from a high 3/4 arm slot. Cuts his fastball at times. Has a short, repeatable arm action and throws strikes. Named to Top Prospect team.
