Nicholas Lozano is a 2006 catcher/outfielder from Houston, TX, with a medium frame showing good strength throughout at 5-11 215 lbs. Behind the plate, Nicholas showed a solid glove and an accurate arm. He moved nicely with each pitch and he has good receiving skills. In the games he threw behind runners and played with a high level of confidence. At the plate Nicholas showed very well. He hits from an open stance with active hands. He does have a slight hand-hitch but gets his hands in a good hitting position at contact. Nicholas has a slightly lofted swing and showed very good bat speed. His bat speed and overall strength allowed him to hit balls with home run power. Overall Nicholas is a strong-bodied player with a solid bat and projectable power.
