Najee Peat-Davis is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA who attends Oceanside HS. Tall, slender build, projects well physically, young look. Well paced delivery with some drift and drop and drive, gets back turned well, medium length arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, slight pause at top of his delivery for deception, ball gets on the hitters fairly quickly. Fastball topped at 81 mph, mostly straight, maintained velocity well and worked at the bottom of the strike zone. Slowed arm badly on curveball, soft spin, will need adjustments with this pitch. Did not throw change up. 7.34 runner, moved well in the outfield and showed some athleticism, quick compact arm action. Right handed hitter, open narrow stance, has some looseness to his swing, mid field line drive contact. Good student.
