Timothy Torres is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-0 152 lb. frame from Toms River, NJ who attends Toms River North HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. Simple turn and throw delivery, stays directional well and repeats his mechanics, 3/4's arm slot, low elbow on release. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 75 mph, will get both run/sink and cutting action on fastball at different times, keeps the ball down in the zone well and throws strikes. Right handed hitter, spread no stride approach, short contact swing, mostly opposite field contact, 7.32 runner. Good student.
