Christopher Peechatka is a 2017 OF with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Stroudsburg, PA who attends Pocono Mountain East Academy. Peechatka has a large frame with a long lean projectable build. Defensively he throws with a long arm action and has some arm wrap on his throws. Peechatka played back on his outfield throws in the workout and used showed developing defensive actions in the outfield. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance with a wide base and a high hand set. Peechatka uses a leg lift trigger to start his swing and swings on a line drive plane. He has some bat speed and he showed some pop when he squared it up well. Peechatka has developing feel for the barrel and projects for more power with increased barrel feel. Very good student.
