Anthony Poindexter is a 2014 2B/C, RHP, 3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Elk Grove, CA who attends Laguna Creek. Compact frame, athletic build. Hits from an open stance, high leg kick trigger, controls moving parts of swing well, line drive swing plane, quick hands, cuts off finish, contact approach. Good glove at 2B, moves well, solid body control to make plays on the move, short arm action. Pitches with a short arm action, up to 78 on the mound, lacks extension good lower half use. Good student.
