Brandon Posivak is a 2016 2B/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Loyola HS. Medium frame, lean athletic build, projects well. Athletic and well rounded player, ran an event best 6.76 60 yard dash. Good infield actions, charges the baseball well, solid range, hands work well, accurate throws. Line drive swing plane with good leverage, aggressive swing, solid bat speed with projection for continued development. Performed well in games in every phase, stole bases at will and swung the bat well. Fastball up to 79 mph from an over the top arm slot with a 12-6 curveball. Excellent student. Named to the California Underclass Showcase Top Prospect Team.
