Jack Myers is a 2016 SS/3B, 2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Fairfield, CT who attends Fairfield Warde HS. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and a present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows repeatable defensive actions, moves well on feet, quick release from short arm action showing strength and carry across with accuracy, moves well while charging in. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance and a medium hand set. Small leg lift trigger at beginning of swing, remains balanced through swing well with line drive swing plane. Long swing, gets the barrel to the barrel and creates hard contact when squared. Shows feel for the barrel and middle of the field contact. Excellent student.
