Mikale Doherty is a 2014 RHP/2B, OF with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Lakewood, CO who attends D'Evelyn Junior/Senior HS. Mikale has a medium lean frame with room to fill. As a right handed pitcher, he pitched from a high 3/4 arm slot, stands tall on the mound with an online delivery. Fastball had good sinking action in the zone, he competes on the mound and throws strikes. As an infielder he showed smooth fielding actions, good routes to ground balls. As an outfielder he gets to the ball well, has a good release point with hand on top of the ball. As a right handed hitter, he hit from a slightly closed stance with a small leg kick load and good hand path through the zone. He showed good balance with good plate coverage.
