Alec Powell is a 2016 OF/2B, RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Rockford, IL who attends Rockford Christian Schools. Powell has a medium lean frame with room to fill out. As an outfielder he had short arm action with aggressive fielding actions and good arm strength, accurate throws. As a right handed pitcher he threw from a 3/4 arm slot, attacked the zone with his pitches. Can improve on the mound by using his lower half. As a right handed hitter he had a small leg kick load and a short path to the ball with a line drive swing plane. Excellent Student.
