Eli Daniels is a 2016 1B/ with a 6-2 216 lb. frame from Portsmouth, OH who attends Minford. Extra large frame with some present strength. Has room to fill and projects for more strength as he matures. Ran a 7.54 60 yard dash. Hands play well at first base. Footwork should improve with maturity.
Left handed batter who hits with a slight open base and a high hand/high set up. Leg lift trigger. Flashes some power and shows ability to drive the ball to opposite field. Uses mostly upper half in swing, but with incorporation of lower half and added strength, should see power continuing to develop. Good student.
