Austin Lewis is a 2014 OF/ with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Garland, TX who attends Berkner. Has a medium athletic frame with room to get stronger. Has good speed which allows him to get to balls deep in gaps. Gets a good read on fly balls with a quick first step and has good actions. He starts with an open high hand stance at the plate with a patient approach and is a lead-off hitter. Has an aggressive swing, he uses his lower half well, he just tries to put the ball in play and beat out infield hits with his speed. When is he on base he makes the pitchers think about him because of his base stealing abilities. Is a good student.
