Jordan McFarland is a 2016 OF/1B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Waterloo, IL who attends Gibault Catholic HS. Outstanding athletic build, impressive present strength, tightly would but still has looseness. 6.69 in the sixty, left field tools defensively but will be solid there, has enough arm strength and gets rid of the ball quickly. Bat is his tool, right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a short swing, tends to collapse his back side at times, gets good extension out front, ball explodes off the bat when everything comes together, not consistent but has impressive raw tools and the power projects big. Type of athlete who could be playing linebacker at a high level somewhere. Good student, verbal commitment to Arkansas.
