Colton Lawrence is a 2015 RHP/2B, 3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Farmington, ME who attends Mt Blue. Medium, lean frame. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot and shows a loose, whippy arm action. Flashes arm side run on his 80 mph fastball and should be more velocity on the way. Mixes a hard, late breaking curveball with 11-5 rotation. Has a good feel for his breaking ball, and will cary it. Also swung the bat, works from a narrow, open stance and carries his hands high. Opens his front side early and looks to pull. Uses a toe tap trigger. Has a line drive swing plane and makes solid contact. Moves well in the infield and transfers the ball quickly.
