Liam O'Regan is a 2015 OF/C with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Middletown, RI who attends Middletown HS. Large, physical build with broad shoulders and plenty of present strength throughout frame. Solid athlete, ran a 4.84 40-yard dash. Primary outfielder, throws with a compact arm action and stays on top of the ball well to generate carry and strength on throws.Takes short steps to the ball and gains momentum on throws, shows a quick release. Low set up behind the plate, similar arm action with nice strength and carry to second base, some effort at release, sound actions and does a nice job of gaining ground with lower half. Right-handed hitter, starts with a small leg lift trigger. Stays balanced through swing and shows a short, quick swing with natural lift and big strength to all fields. Creates big bat speed in swing, shows quick hands on inside pitch and generates extension out front. Loud sound coming off barrel. Named to Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
