Zachary Rodgers is a 2017 RHP/MIF with a 5-6 120 lb. frame from Parrish, FL who attends Manatee HS. Smaller young body, minimal present strength. Slow paced well balanced delivery, simple repeatable mechanics, long extended arm action, arm works well, 3/4's arm slot. Upper 60's fastball, mostly straight. Showed good feel and command for off speed pitches, soft curveball has good shape and occasional sweeping 10/4 depth, has confidence in his change up with good arm speed. Should continue to develop with strength and physical maturity, everything works and looks solid. Right handed hitter, low hand start, long swing, opposite field contact. Good student.
