John "Drew" Dwyer is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Bishop Verot HS. Has a solid frame with length, room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.81 second sixty yard dash. On the mound, stays online through delivery and uses lower half well and gets extension out front. Throws from a high, three-quarters arm slot with a long arm circle through the back and good arm speed. Fastball has arm side running and sinking action. Curveball has solid depth and good sharpness. Changeup has similar sinking action as fastball, solid deception. Has pitchability and arm works well, projects as he continues to put on strength. In the field, showed good actions and throws as high as 90 mph with good accuracy. At the plate in games, hits from a slightly open stance. Showed bat speed and good barrel control, battles at the plate. Named to 2016 Florida Top Prospect List.
