Kendrick Smith is a 2014 1B/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridgepoint. Long lean athletic frame with room to fill out. Has good actions at first base, takes charge on in the infield and has good feet around the bag. Has a large frame for player to throw to at first base which helps save errors and has a good glove which helps him pick balls in the dirt. Takes a contact approach at the plate while showing bat speed, goes with the pitch well, and looks to go back up the middle at the plate. Has good speed on the bases and is an aggressive base runner.
