2013 Midwest Underclass Showcase
Jake Suca is a 2015 RHP/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Joliet, IL who attends Joliet West HS. Suca has a large frame with long limbs and room to fill out. As a right handed pitcher he threw from a 3/4 arm slot with long arm action and a strong front side. Fastball had arm side run and he kept hitter off balance with his off speed pitches. Curveball was his out pitch and his Change up had good run to it. As a first baseman he had excellent footwork around the base with a good glove and good arm strength. As a right handed hitter he had a high setup with a front leg bend load and a was aggressive in the zone and showed pop to his pull side. Good Student.
