Pikai Winchester is a 2015 2B/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Kapolei, HI who attends Iolani. Compact frame, strong well defined build with loose strength. Standout offensive tools as a left handed hitting middle infielder who is a very capable defensive second baseman to create a highly attractive prospect profile for the next level. One of the best hitters of the event, showed good bat speed with quick hands and good balance throughout his swing. Good weight shift through contact with good timing and utilizes available leverage in swing well, good pullside power and a swing that translates well into game at-bats. Sound defensive actions at second base, hands work well, good footwork, compact arm action with good release time on accurate throws. Good student. Named to the Sunshine West Top Prospect Team.
