Vickash Ramjit is a 2008 3B with a 6'3'', 200 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus HS. He has a strong, broad shouldered build with lots of projection still there. Ramjit has all the tools to be a top tier defensive player at third base. He is light on his feet for a player his size and is fluid and quick moving side to side. His actions are smooth and his hands sure. He gets rid of the ball quickly and his arm strength is solid, although not a cannon. Ramjit is a 6.79 runner. He hits from a wide stance with pinched in knees, which really doesn't do him any good. He has a long, loose and fluid swing with very good bat speed. Ramjit projects lots of power and the ball comes off his bat hard now. He has some timing issues at present and looks like he's something of a guess hitter, so he'll still need plenty of repetitions. All the physical tools are there to project as a hitter, though. Ramjit plays hard and is a high ceiling talent. He is also a good student.

Vickash Ramjit is a 2008 3B/SS that attends Christopher Columbus HS and resides in Miami, FL with a 6'3", 195 lb. frame. Vickash has a tall athletic build and is one of the best infields prospects in his class. At the plate Vickash has his approach patterned after Alex Rodriguez. He has a short powerful stroke that allows him to drive the ball to any part of the field. At times Vickash tends to lift the ball too much and sees much better results when he just tries to hit line drives. Vickash has a lot of potential at the plate and just needs a few adjustments to see it all come together. In the field Vickash shows very good tools for a third baseman. He has good footwork with a very strong arm. Vickash has very clean actions and could play in the field at almost any level. Vickash is a highest-level prospect that will attract some draft attention in the next year.

Vickash Ramjit is a 6'2" 190 pound 2008 shortstop from Columbus High School in Miami, Florida who was named to the Top Prospect Team. He has a very athletic frame that is very projectable. Vickash really opened up some eyes with the way he performed at the event. He showed a very good swing with great extension and plus bat speed. He hit some balls a long way and has big time power potential. He keeps his hands inside the ball very well and stays short to the ball at all times while keeping his weight back and not being fooled on off speed pitches. Ramjit didn’t disappoint at all in the field at all. He has nice soft hands and smooth footwork with plus range which is very exciting to see out of a player of his size. He showed his strong arm by throwing 78 mph across the infield during the workout where he also ran a 7.16 60. He has quick feet as well which helps him get down the line in 4.53. Vickash is an outstanding young prospect who can really swing the bat. He is also a good student with a 3.3 gpa.
