Jackson Boggs is a 2016 OF/RHP, C with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Lafayette. Medium, highly athletic frame with plus speed. Ran a 6.77 60 yard dash. Shows good carry on his throws and takes short, quick steps to the baseball. Strong outfield arm. Bats right-handed, works from a balanced setup and makes contact to the middle of the field. Has a flat, contact oriented swing path. Uses the whole field. Stays inside the ball. Good baseball instincts. Also took the mound, tops at 81 mph from a three-quarter arm slot. Flashes a slider with tight rotation as well as an 11-5 curveball at 64 mph. Changeups shows late running action. Full arsenal of pitches with deception. Very good student.
