Weston Griebel is a 2017 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from London, KY who attends North Laurel. Medium, strongly built, lean, young frame with room to fill out. Ran a 7.12 60 yard dash. Good athlete. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and has a methodical, repeatable delivery. Tops at 81 mph with his fastball and has more in the tank. Pitches down in the zone and flashes arm side run. Also mixes in a late diving changeup with good feel. Also swung the bat, works from an upright, quiet stance and stays on top of the ball. Shows a middle of the field approach. Has a wide base and good balance. Very patient in game action. Flashes good arm strength from infield and outfield. Moves well around first base. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
