Dane Wisneski is a 2009 OF with a 6'1'', 175 lb. frame from Jupiter FL, who attends Palm Beach Gardens HS. He has a lean athletic build and projects very well. Wisneski was named to the showcase Top Prospect Team. His best tool is his bat. Wisneski hits from a tall stance and has quick hands and good bat speed. His swing mechanics are very good, too, and he has nice leverage at contact. Wisneski projects some gap to gap power with his line drive swing and can move the ball around the field well. Wisneski is a 7.28 runner who is very aggressive on the bases and shows good baserunning instincts. He shows range in the outfield but needs work on his throwing technique to realize his arm strength. Wisneski is also a very good student.

Dane Wisneski is a 2009 OF/2B from Jupiter, FL, with a 6'1'', 165 lb. frame. He has an excellent, projectable build for his age and could get very strong as he physically matures. He already has good wiry strength now. Wisneski has long arms for his body type and has a long, smooth swing with good extension out front. He has a line drive swing plane and very good bat speed. He hits from a narrow, comfortable stance and is balanced throughout his swing.He showed that he could turn on inside fastballs and showed present gap to gap power. During games Wisneski showed good plate discipline and advanced skills. He is just going to keep getting better and better as a hitter as he gets older and stronger. Defensively, Wisneski has developing arm strength with some on-line carry on his throws and good accuracy. His defensive actions in the outfield are a bit on the raw side, but he has plenty of time to work on these. Wisneski is a 7.55 runner. Overall, he is very promising looking prospect and should be watched carefully. Wisneski is currently being homeschooled but his older brother, who was also at the showcase as a 2007 prospect, attends Palm Beach Gardens HS.
