James Daddio is a 2015 C/1B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from North Chesterfield, VA who attends Trinity Episcopal. Tall, strong, durable frame. Ran a 7.78 60 yard dash. Gives a good, low target behind home plate and shows arm strength. Throws carry well to second base and has sound receiving skills. Has the arm action and transfer to stick behind the plate. Bats right-handed, works from an open stance and carries his hands away from his body. Stays inside the ball well, gets on his front foot at times, but overall has good balance at the plate. Uses simple, repeatable swing mechanics and shows good bat speed. Good student.
