Eduardo Ayala is a 2017 3B/C with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from North Lauderdale, FL who attends J. P. Taravella HS. Has broad shoulders, and good strength in size. Posted a 7.67 second sixty yard dash. From the infield, showed easy actions and athletic movements to the baseball, short arm circle on throws and has ability to throw from multiple arm slots. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a narrow, upright stance, and a leg lift trigger. Has good rhythm in load with a clean hand path to the baseball. Generates good bat speed and barrel whip, strong lower half movements while creating torque and leverage. Ball comes well off the barrel. Great student.
