Eric Moore is a 2016 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St Thomas HS. Tall slender build, narrow frame. 7.14 runner, smooth infield actions on defense, glides to the ball, soft hands field, will have to work on improving his exchange and release to stay at shortstop, some present arm strength with more to come. Right handed hitter, tall stance with a high hand start, long loose swing, swings hard and has some bat speed, showed some ability to pull and lift the ball, projects well as a hitter. Also pitched, over the top arm slot with lots of energy on release, falls off hard to the first base side on release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight. Nice change up with fading action and good feel. Soft curveball with some 12/6 depth. Good student.
