Santana Barrera is a 2016 OF/2B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from McAllen, TX who attends Sharyland HS. Barrera has a medium athletic frame. As an outfielder he showed good fielding actions with good footwork and good arm strength with online carry. As a right handed hitter, he hit from a square stance with a line drive swing plane and good power to his pull side. He squared the ball up well and showed the ability to hit the ball to all parts of the field. He showed good running ability running a 6.89-60. Good Student. Named to Top Prospect List and Team.
