Michael Martinez is a 2016 RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Nanuet, NY who attends Paramus Catholic HS. Medium, athletic build with broad shoulders and rom to fill out with additional strength. Primary pitcher, throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a short and compact arm action coming through the back. High leg raise, gets on top of ball well and ball comes out well, repeats arm action and mechanics well. Up tempo delivery, topped at 82 mph with fastball showing occasional arm side run, effort at release. Consistently locates to glove side, can locate to either side, held velocity well. Maintains arm action on changeup well, gets swings and misses with 11-5 curveball with sharp break and depth at 70 mph. Very good student.
