Taylor Kaprive is a 2008 3B/MIF with a 6'2'', 190 lb. frame from Wellington FL, who attends Kings Academy. He has a big, strong build and good athleticism. Kaprive was named to the showcase Top Prospect Team. Kaprive hits from a quiet, balanced stance with low, tight hands. He has an aggressive, strong swing with good raw bat speed. Kaprive hits through the ball well with a line drive swing plane and the ball jumps off his bat well. He's a solid young hitter who uses his strength well and should continue to develop power. Kaprive runs well for his size at 7.08 and should have good range at third base, especially when he learns to get up on his toes better and off his heals. His arm stroke is unconventional but he has some arm strength and should be playable defensively at third base. Kaprive is also an excellent student.

Taylor Kaprive is a 6'2" 185 pound 2008 third baseman and middle infielder from Kings Academy in Wellington, Florida. He has a pro type body that is very athletic. Taylor has good hitting tools. He stays balanced and has a quiet set up. He swings hard but stays short to the ball. He likes the ball in and is a pull hitter but will drive the ball to all fields. He keeps his hands inside the ball and the ball jumps off his bat very well showing his power. He also showed decent speed by running a 7.23 60 during the workout. Kaprive hustles at all times. He has good footwork and soft hands. He showed good arm strength by throwing 78 mph across the infield during the workout. Taylor is an excellent student as well with a 4.1 gpa.
