Nate Brown is a 2016 RHP/SS with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Hartland, WI who attends Arrowhead HS. Strong athletic build, fairly mature physically. Simple side step delivery, has some energy driving to the plate but keeps his body under control and repeats well, full deep arm action with a tight 3/4's slot coming through, gets downhill well. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, sat very steady at 90 mph, heavy pitch that he keeps down in the zone well, showed hard arm side boring action at times. Tight slurve type breaking ball with tight spin and occasional big depth for the velocity, can improve consistency on release point on the pitch. Developing change up. Showed consistent stuff and better command out of the stretch. Good student. Signed with Florida.
