Aaron Therien is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends Durham Academy. Tall, athletic, lean build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.15 60 yard dash. Bats from both sides of the plate, has moving parts from each side. Loads his hands deep and hits down on the ball. Uses an aggressive approach and generates hard line drives. Flashes good bat speed. Has a strong arm across the diamond and hands work well. Sound infielder. Also took the mound, pitches at 82-84 mph from an over the top arm slot. Flashes sharp curveball at 72 mph with solid depth. Knows how to mix his changeup. Has potential on the mound. Very good student.
