Jack McNamara is a 2015 LHP with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Morristown, NJ who attends Seton Hall Preparatory. Tall, strongly built left-handed pitcher. Ran a 7.56 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and attacks the zone with his 77-81 mph fastball. Likes to change speeds right from the start and changes movement on two-seam fastball. Mixes a 71 mph curveball with shape 11-5 rotation. Varies the speed and throws a slider as well. Fastball velocity plays up. Also swung the bat, hits from both sides. Works from an upright setup, flashes bat speed and hits to the middle of the field. Profiles on the mound. Excellent student.
